In a new, personal work, Rina Schenfeld revisits the image of metal she used in her early creations, exploring it with a mature and contemporary view. The solo blends movement, voice, and drumming on metal, which becomes a layered symbol of covering, resonance, reflection, protection, and sound.
Through a solo of voice, rhythm, body, and memory-combining material and spirit, simplicity and emotional depth-the piece echoes a fragment of Israel’s personal contemporary dance history through an intimate, feminine lens.
