19:00 | Gates Open, Courtyard Performances & Tastes of Taiwan Following the success of 2025, Hansen House transforms once again into a gateway to Taiwan for one night only. Six visiting festival artists bring the many faces of contemporary Taiwanese culture through an evening featuring eight works of dance, music, flavors, and encounters. Spanning tradition and innovation, contemporary movement languages and indigenous Taiwanese cultural influences—and featuring pieces fresh from the island alongside works created during the international residency in Jerusalem—this evening brings the magic, colors, and creativity of Taiwan to the heart of Jerusalem.

Taiwan Experience Throughout Hansen House, a Taiwanese experience awaits you with bubble tea, Taiwanese whiskey and beer, traditional delicacies, and opportunities to meet the artists—completing an evening of dance, culture, and Taiwanese hospitality.

Taiwan Umbrella Studio Right before the doors open, join a traditional umbrella painting workshop where you can design your own Taiwan-inspired umbrella to take home as a colorful, unique keepsake. Participation in the workshop requires a ticket to “One Night in Taiwan” and is limited to a set number of participants with advance registration only. The workshop begins at 18:30 in the Hansen House courtyard—please arrive on time. To participate and register, please fill out your details via the Google Forms link.

20:30 | Main Stage On the outdoor stage specially built for the festival at Hansen House, contemporary dance pieces, premieres, and original productions will take the stage back-to-back, performed by artists from Taiwan alongside works created as part of the festival’s international Jerusalem residency. A unique, one-of-a-kind meeting of creators, cultures, and movement languages under the open sky.

The event is held in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Tel Aviv, the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture, and the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
