“Come as You Are!” is a piece that Agami constructed about herself and her duet partner, Zlata Yakubova, during the fourth year of her bachelor’s degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. The work looks at the range of interconnectivity between people in multitudes of relationships; platonic, familial, or romantic. The piece explores this through the lens of extremes, reflecting the tendencies of partners to become codependent upon each other or alternatively to become completely unavailable. In addition to this subject matter, the piece reflects how relationships can be performed in front of watching eyes.
