The solo “Sex & Suits” explores the intricate interplay between social and cultural identities, embodied within the performer’s physical presence. The solo is inspired by the brilliant essay “Sex & Suits: The Evolution of Modern Dress” (1994) by art critic Anne Hollander, who suggests contemplating fashion from social, cultural, and gender perspectives, highlighting that while the male wardrobe centers around uniformity, women’s fashion has undergone ceaseless changes.
