“Principium” is built on the contrast between two elements that, through their interaction, create life. The conflict represents action through which the two come to coexist in harmony: Mind-Body, Earth-Heaven, Woman-Man. “Principium”, which means the beginning, is represented by the body of a man in dialogue with the female voice, which acts as a guide.
The moment is part of the piece “Nihil Sine Deo”, which is a physical representation of the process of searching, understanding, and comprehending the Absolute Divinity. This process is a continuous but fluctuating one, and it leads to a moment of exhaustion. This moment is the only one in which we can recognize the Divinity that we believe in, and is a moment of sincerity in which we can recognize what can only be defined by emotion at an individual level.
